Graduate or Degree Apprentice

This award recognises the success of a graduate or degree apprentice whose commitment, innovative thinking, and skills are making a valued contribution to the workplace and is set to make a big difference to the organisation and wider industry.

Guidance

  • Judges are looking for individuals who role model the benefits of higher education, and who can demonstrate making a innovative/pioneering difference to the team, department organisation.  
  • An employer or college/university/training provider reference or testimonial is an effective supporting document for entries in this category

Other considerations when completing the nomination form:

  • What are the benefits of a graduate of degree apprenticeship and how has this helped you in your personal life. Have there been barriers or challenges to overcome and how have you done this
  • How have you added value to or gone above and beyond for your team/organisation. Do you contribute ideas, designs, innovations. Have you progressed in your organisation by taking on more responsibility, being promoted or similar. How do you support other apprentices
  • What are your future career aspirations
