Large Employer Apprentice of the Year

This award recognises the success of an apprentice who is making a stand-out contribution to the workplace of a large organisation.  What innovative thinking, commitment, and skills is marking out this individual, either in the early years of their career or someone who is retraining, as someone who is set to pioneer inclusive innovation to the organisation and wider industry?

Guidance

  • Judges are looking for an individual whose talent and enthusiasm for their role illustrates the benefits of an apprenticeship; someone who can demonstrate making a positive difference to the team, department or organisation.
  • An employer or third-party reference or testimonial is an effective supporting document for entries in this category

Other considerations when completing the nomination form:

  • What are the benefits of being an apprentice and how has this helped you in your personal life. Have there been barriers or challenges to overcome and how have you done this
  • How have you added value to or gone above and beyond for your team/organisation. Do you contribute ideas, designs, innovations. Have you progressed in your organisation by taking on more responsibility, being promoted or similar. How do you support other apprentices
